How does an individual session work?

Group sessions

The Inner Life meets the work environment in a series of corporate training programs. Learn relaxation techniques, how to improve your brain function and much more.

How does an individual session work?

In your first session, you sit down with Michelle, who asks you what you want to achieve, and how you would like things to be different. You will discuss your health concerns and general health background.

From here, you move to the massage table, where you will relax, fully clothed. When you are on the table, there are 3 main aspects of Michelle’s work:

  1. Attuning you to your goals
  2. Removing blocks
  3. Establishing strengths

Michelle discusses these with you, whilst working on your physical and energetic systems. The modalities she uses include Holistic Kinesiology, Chinese medicine, flower essences, bodywork and more.

1. Attunement

The first part of this journey connects you with the outcomes that you seek. It's an extremely important part of the process.

Michelle asks you what you truly want? Often, clients come in with a desired outcome in mind, only to discover that there's much more at stake; that there are themes and lessons underlying the outcome that they desire.

Michelle explores this with you. She encourages you to work deeply, and more thoroughly on the heart of the matter - so that your treatment outcomes are also deeper, and more thorough. Sometimes, the heart of the matter is about how you've always lived your life, your core beliefs and deep patterns... in other words, your life lesson.

You achieve much more when you do this foundational work with Michelle. The rewards will be more than just a band aid. They will significantly and deeply change your life and your being.

A crucial part of Attunement is to connect you with the motivation to be the person you truly want to be; to give you the momentum towards living the life you want to live.

This initial part of the work with Michelle can be exciting, and also confronting. Sometimes, you are being asked if you are prepared to let go of the core beliefs and habits that you have held for many years. Mostly, you are being asked if you would like to try something else... something that works better for you… from the greater range of options you will identify working with Michelle.

2. The Practicalities: Removing Blocks

When you set out to achieve big and significant goals, you often find obstacles along the way. These obstacles can stem from your:

  • Habitual reactions & thought patterns (core beliefs & deep patterns)
  • Survival reactions such as: fight/flight (over-aggression or withdrawal)
  • Nutritional habits (allergies, intolerances, deficiencies)
  • Physical imbalances (hormonal, muscular, postural)
  • Or a combination of these.

Michelle pinpoints these obstacles, and then helps you resolve them.

Michelle holds a space for you work through any potentially confronting process. And she is particularly gifted at doing so. She will help you to move with and beyond each obstacle, and to be kind to yourself in the process.

3. The Practicalities: Establishing Strengths

Michelle makes sure that everything in your physical, emotional, mental and energetic body is able to support your goals.

A significant part of this work is about supporting you with new brain pathways. Michelle expands your options for new behavioural patterns and new belief systems. She also strengthens the new behaviour/beliefs you have chosen.
